Welcome to Misericordia
On behalf of the Daughters of Our Lady of Mercy, our residents and employees, we are pleased you are here!
As a faith-based nonprofit organization, Misericordia is led by our mission to serve each resident with a heart of mercy so they can live each day with dignity. From our small size (50 beds), high ratio of staff to residents and nurturing environment, Misericordia provides the ideal home environment for our residents during this phase of their lives. Our dedicated staff works diligently to uphold our quality ratings through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Did you know that nearly 1 in every 6 residents living in York County is 65+? As a result, there is a high demand for skilled nursing services in our area. While the COVID-19 pandemic was unexpected, it has been an experience of loving perseverance in the face of unknown and ever-changing circumstances. Our commitment to serving our residents is steadfast.
We are so grateful to the community for supporting us during this challenging time in so many ways including prayers, donations, and encouragement.
I hope you will consider touring Misericordia to see for yourself the Misericordia difference. We look forward to your visit!
With a heart of gratitude,
Marion Bittner, NHA
